Simply Magical: (Bead-Crochet)

Beads have long held a fascination with me and I remember the first project, done in 1985, long before beads were so popular. I ran into a pattern and some beads in a yarn shop and gave it a try. A few crocheted collars with minimal beads was the result. Through the various crochet conferences, I met beaders and crocheters and join the Bead Society of greater Chicago, where inspiration abounds!! Since then I have grown to love bead crochet and I have explored all kinds of ways to use beads in the different kinds of crochet from freeform to doilies!
